Devotional: My Savior, and most importantly, My Lord

None of us lives for his own benefit, and none of us dies for himself. If we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. So then, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. For Christ died and lived again for this reason, that He might be Lord of BOTH the dead and the LIVING.

God`s plan of salvation was not just about giving me a future escape from hell. I`ve been saved to a new way of life and purpose. Christ came to be both my Savior and Lord in this very life，at this very moment.

Today I pray for a deeper understanding and commitment to the Lordship of Christ in my life.
