As if managing our own lives is not preoccupying enough, technology constantly exposes us to what’s happening in other people’s lives and around the world. We are like a ball rolling endlessly, with no chance to pause, reflect, or assess. Things cling to us along the way, and we rarely stop to evaluate what we should keep and what we should shake off.
