Devotional: Loving God
Passage: Psalm 81
Marked: 10 I am the Lord your God, Who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide and I will fill it. But My people would not hearken to My voice, and Israel WOULD HAVE NONE OF ME.
Some philosophers see God through a stained window. they think He is self-serving and demands obedience simply because He wants the attention on Him.
I thank God that He isn't this way. He desires that I embrace Him and yield to Him as my God so that I will have sufficiency in times of need and protection from those who are out to hurt me.
