Devotional: Resurrection Power

We know Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions. Romans 6

Heb 10:10 states, Christ came to do God's will. And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Jesus did what He did on the cross  so we can have absolute certainty of full redemption. His one sacrifice also frees us from the hold of sin in this life right now. We have been made holy and we are to keep ourselves that way. the life we now live, we ought to live so for God.

May I always be dependent on His enabling power.
