Devotional: Strength in Weakness

But He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you for My power is being perfected  and shows itself most effectively in your weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work in & through me. 2 Cor. 12:9

I am reminded that there is no shame in imperfection because it is in my moments of weakness that I can better see God's greatness. And as I remain conscious of my inabilities and faults I can better sense God's continual workings in my life and that of others'. Keeping that in view, I can openly be authentic as I take steps to personally improve and I can stay gracious and patient with others as I help them correct their faults.

Today, I pray for a life that is less concerned with just public persona. I pray for a life driven to showcase God's glory in my life.
