Devotional: God our Dwelling Place

Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were born or before You had given birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are the eternal God. So teach us to number our days, that we may cultivate and bring to You a heart of wisdom. Let the workings of Your power be revealed to Your servants and Your glorious majesty to their children. And let the gracious favor of the Lord our God be on us; Approve for us the work of our hands. Amp Ps 90.

To keep God in His rightful place and to let my life and actions be driven by His approval and pleasure will remove a lot of non-essential thoughts, worries, and motivations. I pray for the Holy Spirit to re-set my heart on Him and to welcome His presence in my daily life.
