Devotional: Show Me Your Ways
You are great and do wondrous deeds; You alone are God. Teach me Your way, O Lord, that I may walk and live in Your truth; direct and unite my heart [solely, reverently] to fear and honor Your name.
Let me know Your ways that I may know You. Psalm 25:4

To know God, I must learn and observe His ways. I must pay attention to His guidance and dealings so I can catch His mind and heart over my life. I can't approach life with self-formulated perception and philosophy. And in order to honor Him, my heart must be undivided, sincerely desiring His pleasure and honor in all I am and do.
I pray for a mind and heart that is unclouded and simple, that thinks and feels for God afresh.
