Devotion: What We Should Take Pride In
But if any man has pride, let it be in this，that he understands and knows Me，that I am the Lord， who PRACTICES lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on the earth, for in these things I have DELIGHT,” says the Lord. Jeremiah 9:24
There are things in life people can take pride in and aim and hope to be proud of accomplishing or acquiring. Society executes its own standards for honor and recognition and the Christian who is not careful may find his heart and efforts spent on the wrong dreams and pursuits. God highlights ONE greatly important truth in this verse, that He as my Father will commend His child who pursues a true understanding and deeper knowledge of Him. God is a person， He is my Father. and He wants me to make this relationship THE AIM and PRIORITY.
I pray for me and my family to put importance on this spiritual relationship most of all.
