Devotional: The Essence of Gratitude
Know and fully recognize with gratitude that the Lord Himself is God; It is He who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are his]. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Psalm 100:3 AMP

Today I learned that gratitude and trust go together. Remembering from experience the goodness and wisdom of God in my life, I ought to remain grateful in everything and in all situations. In true gratitude, I am able to trust His ways no matter what situation arises, even i f things are currently not what i desire.
I ask the Spirit to help me nurture a grateful heart.
