Use "WHO" if the question or statement refers to a "HE" or "SHE".
- Who gave this to you? (HE did.)
- I don't know who will come. (HE will come.)
Use "WHOM" if the question or statement refers to a "HIM" or "HER"
- Whom did you meet? (I met HER.)
- I seek someone whom I heard laughing. (I seek HER.)
