"And this, so that I may know Him [experientially, becoming more thoroughly acquainted with Him, understanding the remarkable wonders of His Person more completely] and [in that same way experience] the power of His resurrection [which overflows and is active in believers]... Philippians 3 "Tragedy is the absence of God in the human experience."- Recapture/Ravi Z "The noblest reason is to know God Himself."- Recapture/Ravi Z These readings rebuke and remind me that the happenings of daily life are meant to enrich my experience, understanding, and enjoyment of who God is and how He works in my pursuits and in my relationship with others. and even through whatever painful or upsetting things that happen, I know He will turn everything around for my good and for His glory. Today, I pray to put more attention onto the goodness and grace of God in every situation and in everyone.

"Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love  for his wondrous works to the children of man! For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things." Psalm 107 "For If you then, although you are sinful, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!" Matthew 7 Today I think how blessed it is to have a Father who knows how to satisfy my longings. i take security in the assurance that He will fill my cravings with good things. His wisdom can be trusted. I will be granted what`s best for me.

Devotional: Resurrection Power

We know Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions. Romans 6 Heb 10:10 states, Christ came to do God's will. And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Jesus did what He did on the cross  so we can have absolute certainty of full redemption. His one sacrifice also frees us from the hold of sin in this life right now. We have been made holy and we are to keep ourselves that way. the life we now live, we ought to live so for God. May I always be dependent on His enabling power.

Devotional: Certainty

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. This hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. For while we were without strength, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5 To have certainty of the afterlife and assuring hope in this life are special blessings each christian enjoys. We were unsure of where we stood, burdened by the shameful deeds and mistakes of our past, powerless to change life and death. Now, by faith in Christ we have access to God, the source of life and strength. At the right time, Christ died for me, for the ungodly; and at all times Christ secures the present and future of the godly. He is my all-powerful loving Savior.

Devotional: Light and Truth will Prevail

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness CAN NEVER extinguish it. John 1:5 Throughout history the devil has been influencing the wicked and unrepentant people of this world to destroy or suppress the Bible and True Christianity. While it is true that with each generation, genuine believers are becoming more and more of a minority, this verse holds true, the light will continue to prevail amidst the great darkness and no matter how evil people try to twist Bible truths and deny the existence of God; no matter how the stubborn demean, distort, or dilute all that is spiritual, God will keep preserving His Word and His Sovereignty will forever stand. Peter says all will pass yet the word of God will abide forever (1 Peter 1) and God will keep for Himself a people called by His Name. I am thankful to be among the Redeemed. Today, I give Him praise for the salvation and truth I have been given in Christ.
