Do you know what makes Him God? We believe He is God and worship Him as so. But do we know what makes Him God ? What sets the God of the Bible apart that we have chosen to place our faith and worship in Him? This is an important question because our faith is not blind—it is built upon truth, and truth must be understood. Why should we know what makes Him God? This world is all about man knowing himself and living one’s truth. But the created must realise that purpose and satisfaction won’t come just by knowing the self. That comes by knowing one’s Creator, knowing why we were created, and staying connected to the One who powers and sustains our existence. A machine cannot understand itself unless it first knows the intention of its Maker. In the same way, we can only discover the meaning of life by looking to the God who designed life itself. John 17:3 tells us that in knowing God is life, not just for now, but for eternity. The Bible does not attempt to prove the existence of God. Does God exist ?  God declares that He does. He feels no need to validate himself. He is confident that man cannot deny Him because so many externals (that which is extra-biblical) authenticate Him. The burden is never on God to prove that He exists. Rather, the burden is on man to prove He doesn’t. Hence, God in His Word, the Bible, plainly declares that only a fool would say that there is no God. Psalm 14:1. Evidence of God in Nature and Creation Nature confirms the existence of God. Creation cannot deny this truth. Everyone believes something about God. Everyone has a belief, an opinion, or an idea that they hold about who God is and what He is to them. So how much do you know your God ? If you think God doesn't exist, then that's what you believe about him. And with that over-arching belief, you form more ideas or opinions about this non-existent God. And all that you believe and hold about that God make up the faith you hold and that faith moves you in life. It is at the core of your existence, your thoughts, behaviours and actions.
