What the OMINIPRESENCE of God Means to YOU

Omnipresence is God's divine quality, where He is present everywhere. He is in all places at all times.

Now, pantheists readily agree that God is everywhere, but their thoughts are a bit different to what we mean here. Pantheism believes that whatever God exists is IN all things. He/she/it is a combination and summation of all substance or forces that is present in the universe. This concept is not what we are understanding here today.

When we say that God is omnipresent, we mean that His whole person, in all His capacity, is totally present, available, and focused on each and every particular place.

The Omnipresence of God Means You're Under His Watchful Eye

Have you ever burned what you're cooking because you got distracted for a second? Have you lost your child at a shop because you took your eye off the little one because something else caught your eye? Did you miss an important detail because you zoned out of a conversation?

God is so unlike us. The omnipresent Father is never distracted. He doesn't go off-focus. He won't zone out. His eye is fully on the sparrow, on you, on me. And all at the same time.

The omnipresent God is 100% attentive to what's going on in your life, as He is 100% attentive to what's happening in mine. He is with you while you undergo surgery, as He is there while I undergo a job interview. He is always in the moment and ever present in your life and mine.

God the omnipresent hears every word you say in prayer, as He catches every thought and emotion of a brother praying next to you, and that of every other person across the globe.

The Omnipresence of God Means He is Constantly Making Memories with You

Have you missed a significant event because you couldn't be there? Instances like these happen because you and I are not omnipresent. But God is!

He is with you when you aced that test, showed up for your first job, and became a first-time parent. He's been there with you and for you all this time, and for all time yet to come. And the best news is, that's the exact same way He is for all His children.

The Omnipresence of God Means We Are Never Alone

No one can be with you 100 percent of the time, but the omnipresent God can. We can take courage in that knowledge, especially during hard times. The omnipresent God will never abandon nor forsake us.

We may not understand why He is allowing these painful and worrying times in our lives. But we know that in tribulation, we can find peace in Jesus.

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.
In this world you will have trouble.
But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33

We also know that these hard and sad times will also pass. Joy will come in the morning.

"...Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning." Psalm 30:5

Welcome God's Omnipresence

Acknowledge that He is with you today. Welcome His presence in your life. Invite Him to do your life with you. Rejoice in His loyal love as you experience blessing upon blessing. Seek His direction as you take the next steps in your life, career, and relationships. Find comfort in His presence as you navigate the tough times.

Container Gardening: Planting KangKong in Pots (Water Spinach)

Kang kong is a well-known leafy vegetable used in many Philippine dishes. It is quite easy to grow they say. There was a time when you can find kangkong patches on most streets in the neighborhood. It is also called water spinach or swamp cabbage. It thrives in wet, moist areas. Many grow it solely in water. It quickly grows under sunny spots but carers should keep the soil moist. Else, it may die. Some tips: Not much intstructions on planting. Just bury the seed and keep the soil moist or muddy.  Kangkong grows all year round.
