Finding the One I Long For

Reading: Psalm 63

Verse 1 & 2- "O God, You are my God; with deepest longing I will seek You...

Yes, I have seen You in the sanctuary, and witnessed your power and splendor." 

Meditation:

The heart that longs to seek God will find Him responding. Traces of God's presence is seen everywhere, and, at all times. Sadly, the heart seems unable to perceive Him always. David, the king and songwriter pens this heartfelt song on one of his days of wandering in the desert of Judah. He shares that in the sanctuary God can be seen, His power and splendor can be witnessed.

So, where is that sanctuary then? Where is that apartness or sacred consecrated place where I can stay still and watch God BE GOD and just worship Him? I must settle that place and I must settle the time, for that's where I need to be more often.
